How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Navigate complex care journeys by synchronizing efforts between doctors, social workers, and specialists to ensure a seamless, holistic experience for patients and their families.
• Advocate for timely patient treatment by managing insurance authorizations and medication access, removing financial and administrative barriers to care.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team in setting clear care milestones, ensuring that every contributor—from Child Life to Social Work—is aligned with the patient’s recovery goals.
• Streamline the transition from hospital to home by coordinating necessary resources and medications, providing families with peace of mind and clarity.
  
  

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
  
  

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• 2+ years pediatric hematology/oncology experience;
• CPHON certification, or obtained within 1 year of hire
